Since leaving high school Richard has tried his hand at a couple of trades before eventually settling in the electrical industry. He completed his apprenticeship with a large-scale project company before moving onto a colder climate and becoming a

Away from the work site Richard loves to play both field and ice hockey. Richard also has a passion for extreme sports which see him frequently using is spare time to indulge in snowboarding, wake boarding and kite surfing.

Peter Thrower

Director & NZ Registered Electrician

After a stint at Auckland University of Technology Peter finally settled into life as an electrical apprentice. He spilt his time between a large scale project company and a smaller more tailored domestic/commercial outfit. This allowed Peter to gain valuable experience in a greater range of the industry and is now able to utilise these skills within Beyond Electrical and pass on his knowledge to Beyond’s current apprentices. Outside of work Peter is heavily involved with Te Atatu AFC and still enjoys playing football. He has a love of classic cars, brewing craft beer and snowboarding but most of all loves spending time with his young family.

Rose Bainbridge

Office Administrator

I joined Beyond Electrical in 2014 after having my first daughter, I am now a mother of 3. I studied at Unitec (Bach of Sports Management) back in 2000, then it was administration based studies which I enjoyed. My role is booking jobs, answering the phone calls, accounts and daily administration duties. Out of work – apart from running after my 3 little ones I am heavily involved in field hockey at Western Districts, I have been with Western for over 15 years but playing hockey since I started high school (20ish years).
