Beyond Electrical was established in August of 2008 and the goal from the start was clear; To provide a reliable and trustworthy service whilst using innovation and technology to ensure all its customers get the same great service. As a proud member of the Electrical Contractors Association of New Zealand and their trusted Master Electrician programme, Beyond Electrical stands by all its work and continues to provide “Solutions NOT Problems” to all its clients.

Our West Auckland based NZ registered Master Electricians are available to help clients with every electrical need. From changing a light bulb to wiring up your new home, Beyond Electrical are at hand to ensure that our clients receive personalised and professional care in order to complete the job to the highest standards.

Peter Thrower

Director and NZ Registered Electrician

Originally from Wellington, Peter grew up in West Auckland and attended Rutherford College. While studying at AUT he began his career as an electrical apprentice, training and working to become a registered electrician. He spent several years gaining valuable hands-on experience with both large-scale project companies and smaller electrical contracting businesses and in 2008 he established Beyond Electrical in West Auckland’s Henderson.

A self-confessed techno-petrolhead, Peter, together with three like-minded mates, recently built a race car to compete in the NaZCAR Lemons Continuous 24 Hour, the only non-stop endurance motorsport event in New Zealand.

When not working or racing, Peter is heavily involved with Te Atatu AFC – but most of all he loves to spend time with his family & friends.
